Reciprocal Giving: The Story Behind Our Hand-Crafted Bags

Marin Community Clinics has long been supported by a very generous couple, Nancy and Rich Robbins. The Robbins also support the ABE (A Better Education) Club, an organization based in Kasigau, Kenya, that works to improve educational opportunities for rural African villagers.

Because of Nancy and Rich’s generosity, supporting village women working for a full 8 weeks, the group offered to hand-make these gorgeous custom bags for them. Nancy and Rich chose Marin Community Clinics as one of the beneficiaries, and the Clinics are now giving them to staff members in recognition of National Health Center Week, and for their work in caring for the underserved in Marin.

These bags make for meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts, and the charitable contribution is an example of the kind of thoughtful, full-circle giving our supporters embrace. We’re honored to have our logo on these special bags, and our staff members are so excited to put them to use!
