I grew up on the east coast of the US in New Jersey, did not like the cold winters and feel very fortunate to have been able to move to California in1979. I am a board-certified obstetrician – gynecologist; I retired from Kaiser Permanente in San Rafael, CA after 33 years of practice. I very much enjoyed my practice and my colleagues, and valued my patients. For many years I was the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Lead for Midlife Women’s Health.
I currently assist the gynecologists at MCC with their surgical cases that are performed at Marin Health Center and care for gynecology patients scheduled in the telemedicine clinic. I am also a UCSF Volunteer Clinical Faculty instructor, volunteer at the RotaCare Free Womens Health Clinic in Richmond and work with the MAVEN Project providing education and support to clinicians practicing in under-served clinics in the United States.
