Dr. Kazemi practiced for almost two decades in a private practice in San Francisco, after graduating from UC Berkeley School of Optometry, where she returned to as a full-time faculty member. In collaboration with Marin Community Clinic, she provides eye care as a clinical attending instructor. Dr. Kazemi embraces her role as an educator and patient care provider, lecturing locally and nationally to students, faculty, community optometrists.
Dr. Kazemi’s commitment to education, community service, and patient care is evidenced by awards, such as a Certificate of Honor for Outstanding Service presented by Mayor Gavin Newsom and the City of San Francisco as well as a Certificate of Recognition for Continued Support Assisting Businesses presented by the U.S. Senate.
She resides with her husband in San Rafael, California. She is a proud parent of two adult kids, and enjoys traveling, reading, and cultivating friendships.
